Mercana is one of North America’s leading home furnishings wholesalers, with interior designer and retail partners around the globe. As a “design-first” company, we produce unique pieces for the home each season including items such as wall art, furniture, lighting and home decor accessories.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate saws and machinery to cut glass and mirrors
• Assemble canvas and framed art, according to company standard
• Monitor the quality of products and ensure they are not damaged or defected
• Communicate with team leads on any quality issues that arise on a day-to-day basis
• Work on production line and ensure production targets are being maintained
• Follow all health and safety standards
• Maintain a clean workstation on the production flow
• Must be willing to be cross-trained and move to other areas when needed
• Perform other tasks as required

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with using a drill, glue gun, and staple gun is an asset
• Ability to work on your feet for the entire duration of your shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• A strong team player with a positive and professional attitude
• Detailed oriented
• Strong problem solving and communication skills
