 Position Summary: 

The Furniture Mover, reporting to the Senior Director of Operations, plays a crucial role in supporting efficient warehouse, design, and visual merchandising operations, specifically focusing on the management of samples. This role involves various tasks such as picking samples for product reviews and photoshoots, unboxing and assembling items, packing items for return or storage, and supporting general warehouse activities. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Pick samples and stock items for product reviews and photoshoots. 
  • Unbox & assemble all samples and stock items requiring assembly.
  • Carefully pack items & label that need to go back to stock or warehouse after product reviews or photoshoots.
  • Ensure physical disposition of all samples – returning to warehouse or to sales locations.
  • General Warehouse Activities: 

 Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. 
  • Previous experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a sample-focused role. 
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills. 
  • Ability to follow assembly guidelines and work efficiently. 
  • Effective communication skills for coordinating with the Assistant Operations Manager. 
  • Familiarity with barcode systems and inventory management software. 
  • Effort, Good attitude and reliability
  • Basic math and analytical skills
  • Candidates must be physically fit as there is bending, twisting, reaching, and lifting
  • Must be able to lift up to of 50lbs repetitively
  • Operating at heights of up to 30 ft on secure safety equipment is provided
  • Steel toed safety shoes are required
  • Fluent in English, both oral and written is a must
  • Reliable Transportation to/from the facility is an asset

Shift: 9:00am-5:30pm Monday-Friday on-site FULL TIME

Wage: Starting at $18.00 per hour, benefits after 3 months probation.

Experience = potential higher starting wage.
